In the summer we go on an extended mission trip to a location which will allow us to serve God in a new way and to experience a new culture. In 2007 we went to Chicago and served in a Boys and Girls Club; in 2008 we went to work on a Cherokee Indian Reservation in Talehquah, Oklahoma. For 2009 we went to serve a small community in the Adirondaks in upstate New York, 2010 we went back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to serve Katrina Victims, and in 2011 we are planning a trip back to Chicago.
Each year we take a few trips which have become tradition. In January we travel to our Winter retreat; we go out to the Canaan Valley in West Virginia. We also have trips for just boys and just girls throughout the year; in addition to a multitude of nights out for movies, food, bonfires, etc. Let us get connected and we will keep you in the loop!
