Welcome to the CHOSEN Middle School Ministry!! The CHOSEN have lots of opportunities for you to be join in which will help you to Grow Up (worship & fellowship activities), Grow Deep (discipleship & ministering activities), and Grow Out (evangelism & ministering activities) as the body of Christ. I invite you to take a look at our programs and annual events and see what might appeal to you. As a part of the CHOSEN, you are a member of our G3 Youth Ministry (our Middle school & High school youth combined). We also have events for you that are in conjunction as a youth ministry to learn, share, and experience God together. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you! 6th Grade Sundays
Join us as we open with a time for the youth and leaders to share and completion of attendance/offering/prayer requests. We then will move into an opening prayer and worship. The youth will find their curiosity peaked as an interactivespringboard game or activity will introduce each study. Our study will cover the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We will be studying the key points while reading discussing the culture and context. We will use a variety of reference tools such as, a Parallel Bible, Bible Dictionary, Bible Commentary, Bible Maps/Tables/Charts, Bible Cultural Background, etc., giving the youth practical experience. Our goal is for every youth to have the solid foundation of God's stories understanding how they apply to them personally as well as to us as a community.
7th Grade Sundays
Come join us as our class opens with a time for youth and leaders to share, completion of worship summaries/ attendance/offering/prayer requests, and write in their devotional books. We then move into our worship music with an opening prayer. Our study will be Healthy Holy Habits throughout the year. They will be covered in 3 different units: Grow Up, Grow Deep, and Grow Out. This is in support of learning to live out our faith IN LIFE FOR LIFE as a member of the Body of Christ. Our class is interactive and our prayer is that the youth will experience the love of God as they come into relationship or go deeper in relationship with God.
